Automated Optical AI Firearm Detection with Live Monitoring, Verification, and Alerting

ZeroEyes software analyzes your existing security camera video feeds, and if a firearm is detected ZeroEyes instantly notifies live technicians who then verify the notifications and alert authorities within seconds.

ZeroEyes Gun Detection Technology
ZeroEyes software analyzes over 36,000 images per second from client video feeds. If a suspected firearm is detected, the image is forwarded to the ZeroEyes Operation Center (ZOC), where a trained specialist confirms whether a firearm is present. Real-world datasets are used to train ZeroEyes software’s artificial intelligence (AI) to identify guns found on digital security cameras. ZeroEyes AI is trained to only detect guns and is incapable of facial recognition, voice recording, or other invasive measures.

Save Time and Save Lives with ZeroEyes A.I. Gun Detection Solution

Detection

ZeroEyes connects to your existing security cameras and monitors streaming video feeds for firearms. The AI image classification system processes thousands of images per second and immediately notifies trained personnel in the ZeroEyes Operation Center if an image appears to contain a firearm.

Verification

All ZeroEyes firearm detections are reviewed immediately by a technician in the ZOC (ZeroEyes Operations Center). Technicians only review images in which suspected firearms are detected.

Response

Once a technician verifies a suspected firearm, ZeroEyes systems immediately (often within 3-5 seconds) notify facility administrators and law enforcement, who are told the number and location of suspected shooters.

About ZeroEyes AI video technology

Existing video feed
ZeroEyes connects to existing security cameras and monitors streaming video feeds for firearms. The AI image classification system processes thousands of images per second and immediately notifies trained personnel in the ZeroEyes Operation Center if an image appears to contain a firearm.

ZeroEyes AI
ZeroEyes uses real-world datasets to train ZeroEyes software’s artificial intelligence (AI) to identify guns found on digital security cameras. ZeroEyes AI is taught only to detect guns and is incapable of facial recognition, voice recording, or other invasive measures.

Software Applications
Administrators and onsite SROs (security resource officers) have the convenience and portability of ZeroEyes mobile application, while 911 dispatch centers use ZeroEyes web-based application to support law enforcement and first responders.

Programmatic
Depending on the needs of each unique location, the software and alerts can be programmed to send information to specific individuals or groups at large. Clients can also customize the frequency and appearance of such alerts.

Better Technology - Better Customer Experience

Detect Guns - Not People
ZeroEyes is neither invasive nor facial or acoustic recognition technology, unlike other security solutions. The ZeroEyes A.I. technology has been mastered solely for object detection (in the case of ZeroEyes, any make or model of gun), eliminating potential privacy concerns, and identifying real firearm threats with greater accuracy than other security options.

Reduced False Alarms
Human verification and the military experience of ZeroEyes monitoring personnel are key components of the solution. ZeroEyes team monitors every detection 24/7/365, and once a threat is verified, it notifies appropriate security personnel and first responders in as fast as 3–5 seconds to help reduce response times and save lives.

ZeroEyes Tech Lab
ZeroEyes state-of-the-art, experimental A.I. technology lab is a 3,000 sq. ft. facility and workspace equipped with 22 active security cameras and full cyclorama green screen coverage to simulate ZeroEyes clients’ live sites. The space allows us to generate unparalleled data, perform live demos, and test ZeroEyes A.I. gun detection models and hardware in any environment.

RapidSOS

ZeroEyes’ AI-powered gun detection technology sends critical data to RapidSOS 911 telecommunicators and first responders, delivering an end-to-end solution for real-time alerts and situational awareness during emergencies.

U.S. military-trained verification 24/7/365

ZeroEyes’ proprietary gun detection technology is an added layer of security—but ZeroEyes human, military-trained monitoring is what sets us apart from others.

Every detection goes through ZeroEyes human monitoring centers so live operators can verify threats before triggering real-time alerts and safety protocols.

AI paired with military expertise

Human verification is a key component of the ZeroEyes solution.

  • Every detection is reviewed by ZeroEyes team of military veterans and former law enforcement officers
  • 24/7/365 monitoring
  • US-based operations and team
  • Verification to notification in as little as 3–5 seconds
  • Situational awareness and communication with dispatch, on-site authorities, clients, and first responders

When ZeroEyes detects a gun, here’s what happens:

Operator's Screen
An image appears on the operator’s screen with a green box around what the AI system identifies as a gun.
Enhance Image
The operator enhances the image to verify whether it’s truly a gun or not; they can do this in under one second.
Immediate Alerts
After verification, the operator either presses the “dispatch” button or determines the alert was a false positive.
If the operator presses the “dispatch” button, a series of alert steps immediately take place.

ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC)

All In, All The Time
ZeroEyes proactive gun detection and situational awareness software never takes a break, and neither do its live operators.

The ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC) features redundant systems to make sure it’s always up and running, including multiple locations across the country, multiple internet lines, and backup power sources.

That means no matter what happens, from internet outages to natural disasters, you can rest assured ZeroEyes military-trained experts are on call and monitoring all systems.

With ZeroEyes, you’re never alone…

ZeroEyes is with you every step of the way.
